DEBARY — DBK Investments LLC, a Deltona-based general contractor, has bought a manufacturing/warehouse building at 398 S. Shell Road in DeBary with plans to move its headquarters there.
The company paid $525,000 for the 13,500-square-foot building that sits on 2.64 acres at the entrance to Springview Industrial Park.
The seller was Wells Fargo Bank.
The building was built in 1999 and was home to Browning Press until last year when the commercial printing business lost the property to foreclosure. Browning Press is now in Sanford.
DBK Investments plans to move its headquarters into its newly purchased building, bringing about 40 administrative employees to DeBary. It currently occupies a 2,304-square-foot office building at 766 Deltona Blvd. in Deltona.
The building in Deltona, which DBK Investments owns, is now for sale, said Kenny Bonnett, the company’s chief marketing and business development officer.
DBK Investments also has offices in Miami and Walburg, N.C.
The company does electrical, plumbing and other subcontractor-related work on commercial, multifamily and residential properties and development projects.
Bob Rand, a commercial real estate agent with Ormond Beach-based Coldwell Banker Commercial Benchmark, represented the buyer and seller in the transaction.
